Fast Track Migration (FTM) Engineer to join a team responsible for delivering migration services to Microsoft Azure for government customers. The FTM Engineer will be involved with the design, creation, and deployment of Azure and Office 365 infrastructure solutions and handle the execution of migration tasks to transition applications to Microsoft Azure cloud environment(s).

Job Responsibilities: Execute migrations as coordinated by the Customer, FastTrack Center & the Migration Factory Experience with successful Azure migration projects reflecting IaaS and PaaS migrations Have a general understanding of M365 workloads and migration protocols used (MRS, SharePoint Migration API, etc.), decent PowerShell, Azure Portal, M365 Admin Center, Windows Operating Systems, etc. Customer collaboration on migration and discovery workshops and documentation Documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture, configuration and setup) Assist in providing post migration support for customers as needed such as providing effective knowledge transfer and upskilling to relevant customer personnel to ensure an appropriate level of future self-sufficiency Build and deploy new cloud-based computing services for clients and deliver timely and effective provisioning of new hosts. Support cloud management services: Identity and Access Management, Security Groups, and CSP native services. Resolves complex issues related to infrastructure deployments; coordinates and communicates changes and issues with stakeholders and team members and determines root cause. Participate in high-level technical discussions and transform initiatives into comprehensive technical requirements. Reviews operational requirements with project teams, management and client services groups for deployment and ongoing support. Develops documentation for best practices as it relates to server infrastructure and cloud computing operational experience. Serves as a liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met. Support the planning of potential new cloud services, features, and capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications US Citizen Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience TS/SCI FS Poly

Certifications/Licensures: CSP Associate level cloud certification/s in either AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, Google Cloud. Professional level certification a plus

Relevant Work Experience: 5+ years of IT experience with a combination of: o 1-2 years in cloud engineering, working in one or more cloud vendor platforms

Required Job Skills Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate technical designs, issues, and resolutions Experience in-Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments-Windows Virtual Desktop-Windows Servers (Administration experience) Experience with-Azure migration tools such as Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migrate, Azure Data Migration Assistant or 3rd party migration tools-Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools Understanding of Application Architecture General understanding of M365 workloads and migration protocols used (MRS, SharePoint Migration API, etc.), decent PowerShell, Azure Portal, M365 Admin Center, Windows Operating Systems, etc Effectively collaborate with others

Other Job Specific Skills Experience with enterprise level infrastructure and security projects with more recent focus on Microsoft Cloud platforms Experience of working in dynamic teams; collaborating and knowledge transfer to mixed customer and supplier teams Fundamental knowledge of Identity Access Management and Shared Security responsibilities. Broad understanding of backup and/or storage principles, theories, and concepts within the cloud environments. Hands-on experience supporting enterprise server, backup and/or storage solutions within the cloud environments. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Broad troubleshooting knowledge to include the areas of storage, backups, server operating systems and networks. Knowledge of cloud service providers. Cloud command line scripting skills Documentation skills to include creating and updating detailed environment design, installation, and support documentation. Outstanding communication, project & priority management, and collaboration skills. Knowledge of information life-cycle management concepts and best practices.
