Azure SRE/DevOps engineer

• Experience working with
  Kubernetes

• Worked on cloud-based
  AZURE IaaS and PaaS
• Managed Docker orchestration and Docker containerization using
  Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with
  Linux
  Experience in
  Linux Administration Installation and Configuration
• Used Kubernetes to orchestrate the deployment, scaling and management of Docker Containers.
• Awareness of, and ability to reason about, modern software & systems architectures, including load-balancing, queueing, caching, distributed systems failure modes generally, microservices, and so on.
• Associated troubleshooting skills, including the ability to follow RPC call-chains across arbitrary network steps. Consequent understanding of monitoring in distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of operating system level concepts such as processes, memory allocation, and the network stack; understanding of how applications are affected by the above, and ability to debug same.
• Experience with working in a team, including co-ordinating large projects, communicating well, and exercising initiative when presented with problems.
• Improve service availability, latency, scalability, performance, and efficiency Hands on in Azure Cloud Computing Support .
• Focus on
  monitoring,
  release processes,
  safe deployments,
  performance optimization,
  capacity management,
  crisis response, resiliency engineering and similar concerns beyond pure functionality which are relevant to improving reliability.
• Experience in maintaining and executing build scripts to
  automate development and production builds.
• Experience managing
  relational databases. (SQL knowledge preferred)
• Experience with
  Infrastructure as Code and other cloud management tools
• Familiar with building fully automated CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of monitoring, networking,
  security (strong in 1 or more areas)
• Experience in identifying and
  Mitigating security vulnerabilities
• Strictly adhere to
  security practices
• Experience in and demonstrated understanding of source control management concepts such as branching, merging, labeling and integration
