The Clinician II will work to address the unique needs of individuals with developmental disabilities in our supported living programs. Individuals receiving services, which are provided in the home and community, are adults with often times multiple diagnoses and present with significant challenging behaviors. Many supported individuals have transitioned out of more restrictive settings, such as residential habilitation centers, state hospitals, correctional facilities, and diversion programs. They require increased clinical support in order to thrive in a community setting.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Manage caseload of individuals for treatment implementation, using either ABA or DBT therapy.Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)Provide clinical guidance to Direct Support Professionals and Program SupervisorsConduct program visits to interact with staff and supported individualsFoster positive rapport with individuals, parents, and guardiansReview data to ensure care meets individual's current needsComplete progress reports and update plans as necessaryAssist in providing on-call support, crisis intervention and outreach as needed and appropriate.Consult and assist with assessment and implementation of supports needed such as reinforcement systems, coping skills, adaptive equipment, etc.Provide guidance and assistance with admission and discharge decisions on high needs cases.Participate in the debriefing of significant incidents of individuals on caseload when requestedAttend person-centered planning meetings and home staffing meetingsDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with external service providers including DDA, Consultants, Hospitals, Schools, ABA Providers, etc.
