Job Description

As part of the Operational Experience IS Portfolio, the Ground Network Service (GNS) & Transcon teams are responsible for migrating user functionality from our Legacy systems to our Exp.o system platform. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Product Owner and will be responsible for business analysis, systems analysis, technical requirements documentation, and working with a development team to deliver business value and user functionality.

The ideal candidate for this position is a problem solver and facilitator. You will use business knowledge, system analysis, critical thinking skills to clarify requirements with stakeholders and have the team participate in collaborations to build user functionality. The ideal Business Analyst has strong communication and facilitation skills and can build relationships with both their team members and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supports our Migration Strategy to Deliver the exp.o System
  • Promotes and enforces Data Governance best practices
  • Elicitation, organization, translation, analysis and prioritization of both business level and functional requirements
  • Development of process flow and data processing logic
  • Create and execute tactical plans to achieve both short and long-term objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges, maximizing team productivity and velocity
  • Participate in team check-ins, demos, reviews and retrospectives with an eye toward continuous improvement
  • Prepare for Program activities, including PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt
  • Contribute to team objectives for each Iteration and Program Increment (PI)

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+years of Business Analysis experience or equivalent work in software development.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service, research and resolve issues, and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning
  • Comfortable communicating complex business and technical concepts to a broad range of audiences
  • Broad knowledge of database structures, data relationships, and data modeling
  • Possesses an advanced knowledge about industry information/data management best practices
  • Possesses agility for learning technical and business concepts
  • Management of multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to create technical requirements and mapping specification documents

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience or understanding of the transportation/logistics industry
  • Prior experience working with system-to-system integration projects
  • Prior experience working on system migration projects
  • Experience working with different data message types (e.g. XML, JSON)
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum development practices
  • Effective at navigating ambiguity and helping diverse teams drive toward clarity and consensus
  • Results orientated, willingness to commit to a direction and drive to completion
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Microsoft Office
  • SAFe familiarity and/or certification
