DescriptionJob summaryThis position serves as a Business Process Manager (BPM) for contracting operations related to AWS Professional Services contracts. This position includes direct contact with AWS business leaders and AWS Legal for implementation of new tools, processes, and/or process improvements, to provide Contract Specialists within the Business Process and Operations (BPO) team with a streamlined contracting mechanism. An individual in this role would lead the project management for new tools, processes, and enhancements that enable the AWS Professional Services contracts team to scale effectively, in alignment with stakeholder needs, and manage existing processes to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.A successful candidate will be highly motivated and process oriented; possess a strong sense of ownership; have exceptional organizational skills, high integrity and accountability; and have a passion for process improvement. Strong analytics skills are required to successfully solve key business problems through a deep understanding of complex business requirements. Demonstrable project management experience is essential to initiate, scope, plan and execute high impact cross-team initiatives effectively. Since this position involves direct contact with business owners and stakeholders; you must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate effectively with people at every level, including senior management.Key job responsibilities Manage operational processes associated with AWS Professional Services Contracts for the team in all Geos, including identifying gaps in existing contracting process and working on the relevant remediation efforts Manage upstream and downstream stakeholder expectations and alignment on strategic initiatives Analyze trends to drive strategic initiatives that will increase efficiency and quality of contracting processes to reduce cycle times and downstream effects Develop reporting systems to effectively monitor and manage the overall program to ensure is functioning effectively Manage and maintain training material, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other key supporting material for the contracting team and business stakeholders Lead development and implementation of process improvements to eliminate process waste and increase automation for the contracting team in all Geos, which may include managing complex and high impact projects affecting multiple stakeholders and business owners Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team on contracting operations for business stakeholders and Salesforce team Manage risk management and audit programs for the team’s contracting operations across all GeosBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBasic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant program management experience Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups and Charts)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred Qualifications Experience with Lean Six Sigma is helpful but not required Experience with managing projects and programs for a sales and operations team is a plus Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to communicate effectively across all functions and levels of the organization Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teamAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
