In doing so, we create life-changing innovations that impact billions of lives around the world.We are looking for a Business Program Manager for the Microsoft Security Research (MSecR) Executive Office in Microsoft Security who will support the Chief of Staff in supporting the financial operations for our organization, helping to oversee and drive end-to-end procurement processes, related communications, and reporting while partnering with others across the organization, Finance, and stakeholder teams. This role requires a highly detailed person who is smart, strategic, and self-driven. The successful candidate for this position has the ability is detailed oriented, has analytical skills, shows the commitment to deliver high quality results, and exhibits emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a background in procurement, demonstrated project management skills, and a passion for ensuring the financial health of our business. Additionally, the ideal candidate has: a background in program management or related disciplines with a history of going deep and quickly learning new processes, the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization and a desire to drive to realize shared goals with our partners and stakeholders. This role requires someone who has an execution mindset with outstanding organizational skills plus a bias for action in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. Help the senior business manager lead the portfolio of MSecR financial programs

Manage end-to-end procurement processes from working with project owners in drafting Statement of Work (SOW) for procuring goods and services, to creating purchase order (PO) and tracking invoices

Manage procurement and distribution of software and tools licenses, user accounts and access credentials

Support reporting processes by maintaining and improving existing reports in Excel (Power BI knowledge a plus, but not required)

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design and manage compliant, complex financial programs and processes.

Additional projects as needed.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field

o OR equivalent experience.

Experience in procurement/contracting experience and experience in providing high levels of customer service to partners

Experience with Microsoft 365, including data connections and data modeling

1+ year of experience/proficiency with Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of procurement/contracting experience and experience in providing high levels of customer service to partners

Budgeting/accounting/finance experience

Experience with Power BI report building

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with high level of accuracy

Effective written and verbal communication

Knowledge of internal Microsoft applications including Teams, MyOrder, MS Invoice, Informa

Business Program Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $64,800 - $115,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $86,400 - $129,600 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
