JOB DESCRIPTION:The Process/Business Analyst will work with Investment Management Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to formulate and define business and/or systems scope, requirements, and objectives based on a good understanding of applicable industry requirements. Lead requirements definition sessions ensuring that the team articulates requirements and specifications. Drive dialogue to a detailed level to allow the capture of actionable requirements. Use understanding of business objectives, technical environment, and project timeline and scope to analyze needs; capture them in the documentation of business and system requirements.

High Level Responsibilities
  • Perform requirements management planning for medium to large scale projects
  • Lead business analysis across multiple parallel initiatives
  • Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements
  • Facilitate and drive requirements gathering sessions
  • Collaborate with business and systems experts
  • Lead analysis of business processes, procedures, data and rules
  • Negotiate and influence requirements direction
  • Perform analysis and evaluation of business processes, information and rules
  • Make determination of alternatives for optimizing business processes
  • Identify solutions to business problems
  • Create business process models, context diagrams and use case models
  • Apply knowledge of formal requirement elicitation best practices
  • Help or facilitate process improvement and/or process mapping sessions
  • Adhere to formal software development processes and procedures

REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in financial services, with experience in wealth management, online brokerage and robo-advisor industry
  • Strong operational and/or controls background
  • Experience in or partnering deeply with legal, risk, compliance, supervisory, audit, and regulatory matters
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong project management skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with Investment-focused projects, preferred
  • Working knowledge of investment credit or market risk, preferred
  • Seasoned individual capable of handling broad scope projects that have medium to long-term focus
  • Demonstrated ability to understand how tasks and milestones collaborate and connect together across related projects.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Act as the liaison between IT capabilities and business objectives to facilitate, manage, and prioritize improvements through process or system solutions to increase overall quality and meet business partner demands
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to interpret and recommend best solutions to align IT and business initiatives, including documentation and/or review for completeness and accuracy
  • Act as a change agent and subject matter expert in applications/specific area of knowledge; understand the request for change vs. what the most efficient resolution to make decisions and communicate information to the team, management, and stakeholders
  • Prepare “current state” documentation in written and graphical form, such as Wire Frames, Process flows GUI, Screen, and Interface designs, using MS Visio or other relevant tools
  • Perform System Integration and Regression testing on derivatives trading system of record, Murex, and coordinate UAT testing using relevant tools, including MS SQL Server
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze needs and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, Test Strategy, Test cases

REQUIREMENTS
  • Financial Services and Insurance industry experience
  • Global/enterprise technology architecture
  • Experience of various SDLC methodologies
  • Well-developed skill in business requirements gathering and documenting
  • Well-developed skill in quality assurance and testing methodologies
  • Well-developed understanding of application security and related compliance processes
  • Well-developed business process analysis/mapping skills
  • High level of knowledge of standard SDLC methodologies
  • Advanced level ability to work and adapt effectively to all levels within and outside the organization; social interaction demands understanding and respect in political/corporate setting
  • Advanced level communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
  • Well-developed abilities to work on strategic, tactical and operational levels and root cause analysis
  • Well-developed awareness of cultural differences working within a global company
  • Several years of experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint) as well as SharePoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent knowledge and a minimum related work experience of 5-7 years in the areas listed below.
