Now Hiring: Canal Maintenance Worker

Location: Othello Watermaster Section – East Columbia Basin Irrigation District (ECBID)

The East Columbia Basin Irrigation District (ECBID) is currently accepting applications for the position of Canal Maintenance Worker based in the Othello Watermaster Section.

This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of the District’s irrigation infrastructure.

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Performing general labor related to canal and irrigation system maintenance

Operating heavy equipment and trucks safely and efficiently

Applying herbicides and performing routine spraying tasks

Basic carpentry and concrete work

Welding and fabrication

Assisting with the repair of canal linings and structures

Excavating and backfilling around infrastructure as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting Pay: $25.64/hour
