About The Remontant
The Remontant is an eco-conscious fragrance brand that creates custom phthalate and paraben-free fragrances to be utilized in candles, body mist, soaps, and more.Our shop will have self care and wellness-focused products, and thoughtfully curated goods that inspire everyday blooming.
We will be opening our first brick and mortar in downtown Kirkland and hosting candle making classes. In addition, we will also have a giftshop section.

The Remontant is always buzzing with activity and can be a fast-paced environment. We're on the lookout for someone passionate about fragrances who has a high attention to detail, is a team player, takes initiative, and can share a laugh.
Job Responsibilities
Retail & Customer Service:
-Provide an excellent customer experience by welcoming guests and assisting with product selection.
-Educate customers on the benefits of our products, including candles, soaps, body and linen mists, and incense.
-Handle sales transactions via POS system and maintain accurate cash handling.
-Restock and organize products to keep the store looking fresh and inviting.
-Familiarize yourself with our various notes within fragrances to assist customers with recommendations.
Candle Bar:
-Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for participants.
-Set up workstations with necessary tools and supplies before each class.
-Teach participants about candle-making techniques, including proper wax melting, fragrance blending, and wick placement.
-Educate attendees on the benefits of using phthalate- and paraben-free fragrances and clean-burning waxes.
-Demonstrate step-by-step methods while ensuring students are following along.
-Safety & Quality Control, ensure all safety procedures are followed, including proper handling of hot wax and fragrance oils.
Inventory & Duties:
-Assist with in-house, labeling, and product packaging.
-Maintain quality control of the inventory.
-Help manage inventory by organizing stock, tracking supplies, and reporting low stock levels.
-Follow safety guidelines for handling production materials and equipment.
-Safely lift and carry heavy objects weighing 50 lbs or more as needed.
Shop Operations & Maintenance:
-Keep the shop tidy
-Assist in setting up store displays and merchandising new products.
-Support social media content creation by capturing behind-the-scenes moments, ( this is very important, we will be using social media to promote the business - must be comfortable with being on camera)
Qualifications & Skills:
-Ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects—this is essential.
-Must be able to work weekends.
-Must be comfortable with being on camera for social media
-Great customer service skills.
-Attention to detail and accuracy.
-Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
