Children’s Salon Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Children’s Salon Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our kid-friendly salon. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a passion for working with children, and experience in the salon industry.

Commitment:

Tuesday through Friday 1:00 - 6:00pm & Saturday 9:30 - 6:00pm

Responsibilities:

Salon Management: Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for children and parents.

Team Leadership: Manage a team of hairstylists and support staff to deliver excellent customer service.

Customer Service: Ensure an enjoyable experience for children and parents by maintaining high service standards.

Sales & Marketing: Drive salon revenue through promotions, and upselling services/products.

Inventory & Supplies: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure all equipment is well-maintained.

Hygiene & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas.

Scheduling & Bookings: Oversee appointment scheduling, walk-ins, and efficient staff management.

Conflict Resolution: Handle customer complaints and employee concerns professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in salon/spa management or a similar leadership role.

Strong understanding of hair and beauty services (experience with children’s haircuts is a plus).

Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, kid-friendly environment.

Knowledge of salon software and booking systems is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent (certifications in cosmetology or business management are a bonus).
