• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required.
• 5 years of Structural Engineering experience practical engineering experience is required.

• Experience with designs using the current International Building Code (IBC) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ACSE) 7 is required.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as SAP2000 and RISA is required.
• Must be familiar with modern structural analysis techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook,

• Experience with Bentley MicroStation or other similar CAD programs.
• Knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to components and facilities found on a regional transmission system.
• Knowledge of ASCE 41 Seismic Evaluation and Retrofit of Existing Buildings.
• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Strong critical thinking; ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to problems.
• Effective time-management skills; perform tasks efficiently and manage work assignments to meet deadlines.
