Job Title: Compliance Specialist

Compensation: Starting pay $24-26/hr depending on experience

A Compliance Specialist reviews and verifies document records to ensure the documentation complies with regulations and internal quality control practices. The Compliance Specialist works closely with Care Navigators to advise what information is needed from the client to provide all available services efficiently. They monitor and confirm crucial documents and conduct file audits, ensuring all regulatory timelines are adhered to and are critical to ensuring a clean external audit.
Compliance Specialists are skilled in time and priority management, have strong attention to detail and compliance, and have a high level of personal accountability. Compliance Specialists collaborate extensively within the organization to ensure all i’s are dotted, and t’s are crossed.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with internal and external funding requirements
Maintain a thorough understanding of available funding sources and allowable uses to support Care Navigation in providing resources needed to achieve client goals
Works closely with Care Navigation to communicate all documentation required for services in a complete and timely manner
Ensure file documentation is complete, organized, and reconciled across all data platforms (on exit)
Procure supplies and essential items as indicated by Care Navigation for client success
Prepare and submit POs to finance for client financial assistance
Conduct through exit process for each client file working closely with Care Navigation to gather the required elements
Update contract spend-down report on a regular and timely basis
Input data and monitor database entries
Assist management team with report preparation
Qualified Candidate will possess the following skills:
