Description:The Contracts Administrator prepares bid proposals and administers contracts in accordance with company and customer policies and requirements. Communicates directly with customers and suppliers to develop pricing and scheduling in preparation of bids and proposals.JOB REQUIREMENTS Analyze customer RFQs and prepare accurate, detailed bid proposals on time. Determine cost estimates in accordance with company procedures and any other costs thatmay affect projects. Work with the Contracts Department team to obtain acceptable quotes from suppliers for required materials (raw materials, tooling, hardware etc.) Document cost estimates and communicate estimate details effectively both internally andexternally. Work with existing estimating tools, methods, and databases to produce complex bid packagesand identify opportunities for improvement. Communicates with customers and suppliers to resolve questions about contracts, pricing, and scheduling. Extensive manufacturing process experience including knowledge of commonly used material hardware and finishes. Must be able to understand and interpret complex drawings and specifications.(ability to develop a complex Bill of Materials, manufacturing processes and finishing requirement from provided engineering documentation) Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail is required. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office with additional MS Excel knowledge preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
