Description:The Automation Controls Technician maintains and repairs components of the production machines and facilities equipment. The primary responsibility for this position is troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with regards to PLCs, Drives, and other automation controls. Drive zero downtime through diagnoses, troubleshooting, and repairs related to automated components such as PLCs and drives, as well as other equipment in the factory.

Programs PLCs and drives as needed.

Provides Automation solutions and process improvements through WCM, such as performing root cause analysis for breakdowns and failures.

Performs Preventative maintenance activities on equipment and components as assigned

Develops and provides training to others as part of supporting the plan for the maintenance department training needs, and skill gap competence improvement.

Rebuilds and redesigns existing production equipment as needed for loss eradication, safety, and life cycle management.

Updates and maintains machine documentation in the Teams site as needed, examples; schematics, PDFs, OPLs, MP best practices info, Factory bulletins, machine modification updates.

Collaborates with IT, OT, and CBRE needs as necessary, examples; network, fiber, power distribution factory wid

Participates in new equipment projects and improvements for loss eradication, safety, and life cycle management.
