The CRM Marketing Specialist is responsible for day-to-day tracking and oversite of the development and on-going maintenance of the marketing customer database platform (CDP) and email service provider (ESP). This includes ensuring data compliance standards and regulations are met and the database is performing according to industry standards and guidelines. This role is integral in the management of new system integrations, CRM program optimizations and audience building, CRM program reporting, and ensuring that CRM goals, objectives, and best practices are executed to its full potential. Critical to the success of this role is the ability to work cross-functionally across the enterprise to ensure marketing efforts are optimized and meeting industry standards. The CRM Marketing Specialist is responsible for being the expert in understanding customer data and how to leverage that data to create relevant and meaningful CRM marketing campaigns.

The CRM Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the development and deployment of all emails, including but not limited to email design, concepting, content creation, programming, audience segmentation, testing, scheduling, and reporting. This role will work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure brand integrity and consistent messaging across all channels and campaigns. This person will be responsible for adhering to all email best practices and guidelines. They will ensure email marketing efforts are optimized, meeting engagement KPI targets, and reaching the right person, at the right time, with the right message.

Email/CRM

  • Support the management and maintenance of the marketing customer database platform (CDP) to ensure 100% data compliance and all guidelines and regulations are met according to industry standards
  • Coordinate data collection initiatives and ensure adherence to data collection best practices
  • Execute monthly reporting and/or ad hoc CRM performance reporting for all direct marketing communication channels (email, direct mail, App messaging, etc.) to inform campaign optimizations
  • Provide data-driven insights and CRM optimizations Marketing Team by suggesting new A/B testing strategies, platform enhancements, new program/campaign improvements and identify the optimal target audiences to increase overall CRM performance and meet KPIs
  • Assist in design, copywriting, and deployment of email campaigns and CRM program execution
  • Be the expert in our customer data and CDP in order to build the most effective audiences/campaigns and ensure data integrity/QC across all audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support multi-channel campaign efforts in order to achieve company goals and drive results
  • Promote and foster a "learning culture" by monitoring latest industry thinking and innovation to inform direction for future strategies/plans.
  • Proven track record building robust HTML email campaigns through an Email Service Provider; Acoustic experience preferred (formerly Silverpop)
  • Experience using email testing programs
  • Experience building audiences and queries for targeted communications
  • Proven ability to execute A/B testing strategies and dynamic content
  • Understanding of privacy laws such as CASL, GDPR, etc.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytic approach to business; know the numbers and use them to drive decision-making

Analytics & Insights

  • Develop clear and measurable business and testing objectives, and define test KPIs.Design, develop, manage, and analyze A/B tests, multivariate testing, segment-based and behavioral targeting.
  • Create visualizations to communicate the results of statistical tests and analysis to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify analytics requirements and work with appropriate teams on production cycles or reporting requests.
  • Conduct audits and troubleshoot tracking gaps to maintain data confidence and implement data standardization practices.
  • Create monthly report with digital marketing analytics, insights and recommendations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in marketing·Minimum 2 years of Digital Marketing Experience·Experience writing and editing email marketing content·Experience using Customer Relationship Management software·Experience using an Email Service Platform; IBM Watson Campaign Automation (Silverpop) a plus·Understanding of CCPA, CAN-SPAM and email best practices·Strong quantitative and analytical skills to drive actions·Excellent planning, organization and time management skills·Willingness to learn and a passion for the Snowsports Industry·Experience with Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExtensive experience of direct and digital marketing ideally in a similar industry.Strong background in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategiesExpert knowledge / certification in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager Expert knowledge Adobe Test and Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Reports & Analytics Understanding of online measurement and analytics, with the ability to provide meaningful and actionable insights and analysis. Proven data visualization skills and presentation skills. Strong mathematical or statistical background. Strong marketing experience, proven ability to turn insights into marketing strategy/ideation Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines; manage work in a fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment. Proven history of self-direction, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure. High level of attention to detail, quality, and effective verbal and written communication skills along with excellent follow-through and a high degree of professionalism.

  • Previous experience leading projects with cross-functional teams from different departments required.

  • Must foster a department culture of innovation, collaboration and accountability and be successful in an experiential hospitality and promotionally driven, fast paced, metrics-oriented company.
