Description We are offering an exciting long-term contract opportunity for a CW Medical Record Retrieval Specialist in the health insurance industry, based in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for retrieving electronic medical records, conducting system research, and supporting various tasks related to medical record retrieval initiatives.Responsibilities: Retrieve electronic medical records from various provider EHR systems. Conduct data entry tasks efficiently and accurately. Perform system research as required, using both web-based and internal source systems. Work within strict deadlines to ensure all tasks are completed on time. Support other tasks such as data entry and research with multiple EMR systems for the overall medical record retrieval initiative. Coordinate with the Risk Adjustment and Quality Departments for retrieval efforts. Generate letter requests to providers as part of the medical record retrieval process. Conduct outbound calls to providers to resolve any issues and facilitate the receipt of medical records. Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records.This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with multiple systems and departments. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, data entry, planning, research, and coordination skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical records, and electronic health record systems will also be beneficial in this role. Requirements Proficiency in customer service and data entry Experience with planning and coordinating tasks Comfortable with conducting research and maintaining quality of work Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls Familiarity with workstation support and leadership skills Experience with receipt management and maintaining confidentiality Knowledge of medical records handling and relevant laws and regulations Understanding of HIPAA-regulated environments Experience with HealthCare.gov and web applications Comfortable with blogging and coordination tasks Ability to innovate and adapt to new situations Familiarity with EMR - Electronic Medical Records and EHR SYSTEM Experience with 'Join Me', HTTPS, and other relevant software Ability to support business initiatives and work with source systems Knowledge of Medicare Advantage Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality, particularly in handling medical records Ability to work in a HIPAA-regulated environment Familiarity with healthcare law and regulation Experience with web applications and blogging platforms Ability to plan and coordinate tasks effectively Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and EHR systems Proficient in using 'Join Me', HTTPS, and other relevant software Able to support business initiatives and work with source systems Knowledgeable about Medicare Advantage.
