Dance Instructor

Join the fastest growing team and dance family in the region to share your passion for dance with the next generation of movers and wiggle-munches! Moscow Movement Arts Center is seeking 2 enthusiastic part-time instructors with a love for, and dedication to, dance and community engagement.

Job duties include delivering level-appropriate course content (provided) to students in a fun and engaging manner through student-centered pedagogy; fostering a warm and welcoming environment for dancers; being available for parent inquiries; and production support 2-3 times per year while working alongside some of the most inspiring humans we are blessed to call dance family members.

REQUIRED Qualifications:

Clear and present passion for dance education

Experience and/or interest in working with children, youth, and/or adults

Interest in community engagement

Commitment to inclusion in class-planning, lesson delivery, and onstage

Teaching availability 1-2 afternoon and/or evenings

PREFERRED Qualifications:

Dance teaching experience and/or equivalent performance experience

Experience in production support

Experience with dance studio environment

Experience editing music

Interest in long-term employment with growth opportunities

Interest in Progressing Ballet Technique certification
