Job Title: Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant with 2-3 years of dental experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentist and hygienist to provide quality oral healthcare to our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist dentist and hygienist during procedures and anticipating their needs

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Take and develop dental x-rays using Dexis

- Maintain patient records using Dentrix

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care

- Sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA guidelines

Skills:

- Strong anatomy knowledge related to the oral cavity and dental structures

- Proficiency in imaging techniques for capturing dental x-rays

- Experience with Dentrix

- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

- Two to three years experience in dental assisting is preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
