Our client has a new opportunity for a Design Researcher, who will work on a fast and web-based project. The candidate will join a team that is developing a fun and engaging learning portal for the customer facing employees. The ideal candidate will have worked on an end-to-end product space and has done foundational research and usability studies, as well as previous enterprise or learning product experience. Scope and Responsibilities:
- Conduct a content review of reports and experiments undertaken by various experts in the sector to come to a point of view around what they know and where they still have questions
- Undertake qualitative and quantitative research
- Analyze existing data that underlies the most robust research surrounding the project
- Structure research through fieldwork, analysis of findings and insight development
- Connect insights to design and collaborate with teammates to create digital tools to improve the efforts of the team toward the project s end result
- May have to create deliverables, reports, and presentations to document and bring to life insights in an engaging and inspiring way
- 2+ years of qualitative research experience with a proven ability to scope research, do fieldwork, conduct interviews, perform desk research, lead synthesis and communicate findings
- Ability to synthesize research findings and to uncover and articulate insights
- Ability to shape and lead strategic, systems thinking based upon insights gathered through research
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and efficiently
- Experience using technology and digital methods to uncover needs (e.g.: experience conducting online research, implementing remote user studies, moderating / monitoring online, collaborating with developers to build web or digital prototypes to gather feedback, etc.)
