As a diversified, national organization, Centene's technology professionals have access to competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility.Position Purpose:Directs the program managers who are responsible for providing the overarching leadership and guidance on programs and large projects (both waterfall and agile).Staffs project and program managers, provides oversight for programs and projects, serving as a point of escalation as needed. Delivers, measures, and manages performance in addition to providing input and collaboration on interdependencies within projects, programs, and systems.Directs project and program managers in all phases of the project life cyclePerforms resource planningDetermines, monitors, reviews, and reports on all program attributes including program costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, quality, and risksShares knowledge and develops team capabilities to strengthen understanding of IT and industry, business and best practicesManages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conducts performance reviews, provides leadership, technical guidance and coachingDevelops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve resultsProvides strategy and change management thought leadership support opportunitiesProvides direction to the project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope, and risk assessmentIdentifies key leading and lagging risk factorsDirects the implementation of new programs introduced into the planBuilds and manage technology roadmapsMaintain departmental work process for IT controlsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsEducation/Experience:Requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of related experience, including prior management experience.Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.Technical Skills:

One or more of the following skills are desired.

Experience with Root Cause Analysis; Stakeholder Management; Vendor Relationship Management

Experience with Microsoft Office

Experience with Agile Management; Project Management

Experience with Other: developing, monitoring and managing project budgets and schedules.

Knowledge of Agile Management; Scrum (Software Development); Software Development Life Cycle

Pay Range: $154,500.00 - $285,100.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
