Dog Daycare - Part time WEEKENDS

REQUIREMENTS:

- Applicants Must Be 21yrs+ because we are a tavern and WA state law requires us to hire people 21 years of age or older.

- You must be able to accomplish tasks throughout your shift without needing someone to tell you the next task, you will have a list of tasks to follow. We don't want to micromanage you, because no one likes that.

- Manage a group of dogs (35lbs or less), including cleaning up potty accidents, maintaining positive behaviors, correcting negative behaviors, cuddling, etc. We are a structured daycare. Once trained on how to do so you'll need to be comfortable with some dog training throughout the day.

- Work as a team with others to accomplish daily tasks.

- Maintain a clean work area and equipment.

- Work with a team to care for dogs, help clients, and maintain a clean facility.

- Some social media, phone, and computer work is included.

- Must be able to lift 40 pounds multiple times in a day, although you won't do this frequently it is something that happens from time to time.

- Great with Dogs and People. You need to feel comfortable telling dogs no because you can't love a dog into listening to everything you say (also, they don't speak English lol). Our clients are generally very friendly and happy people, that is because our teams are also very friendly and happy people too. You must be outgoing.

- MAST and food handlers permits required, but you can obtain those while working and we will pay for them.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

- Kirkland Saturdays and/or Sundays 10:30am-4pm.

- All locations (Redmond, Kirkland, Issaquah) for fill in shifts. These would not be regularly scheduled shifts. These would be something where we text to see if you want to cover when someone else has time off. You can turn these shifts down if they don't work for you.
