Cascadecopia is looking for a new Crew Lead experienced in Landscape Construction to become part of our small team.

We are a residential design and build company specializing in building spaces that are ecologically minded and suit the unique needs of our clients and their outdoor spaces.

This is a fun and hard working team. There will be opportunity for advancement and training. There will be the possibility to learn skills in rain catchment, rain gardens, water wise irrigation, plants, water features and ponds, building flagstone and paver patios and paths, equipment operation, as well as many other skills.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate will be hard working, self motivated, task oriented, with attention and pride in the details. You will have at least one year experience in Landscape Construction or Landscape Maintenance as a Crew Lead or two years experience as part of a Landscape Construction or Maintenance crew.

Experience in related fields may be considered but landscape construction/ maintenance experience is prefered. You must enjoy physically demanding work and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Must have valid Drivers Licence with a clean record.

Must have reliable transportation. The majority of our work is within Thurston County and near Olympia.

Candidate must be respectful to all people at all times.

In addition to one to two years of Landscape Construction experience, the following skills and experience are a plus, but not required:

Knowledge of native, edible, and/or ornamental plants

Irrigation experience

Masonry, carpentry, or other related construction skills/interests

Experience backing up dump trailers, operating skid steer loaders or other tractors and equipment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the ecological landscape construction site and crew, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Utilize hand and power tools for construction tasks.

General landscape labor tasks (this is both a management and labor position).

Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and enhance overall project efficiency.
