Elders Department Assistant - $20.00 - H057

Our client, a tribal Government led by a seven-members elected to oversee the welfare, resources, and cultural preservation of the Tribe is recruiting for an Elders Department Assistant. The Elders Department plays a vital role in supporting the health, dignity, and cultural continuity of Tribal Elders, ensuring they receive the care, respect, and services they deserve.

What you get to do:

Follow the meal setup and cleanup instructions guidelines for congregate meals

Welcome and greet elders

Deliver meals in the Anacortes area when needed

Grocery pickup when needed

Clean and sanitize kitchen, food service counters, tables, chairs, restroom, vacuum and mop floors, take garbage to dumpster

Keep supply and cabinet areas tidy and organized

Track supply list for ordering items

Pick up lunches and return items to kitchen

Wash lunch dishes at the Longhouse kitchen

Launder tablecloths and towels

What you need to be successful:

Kind and courteous and enjoy serving elders

Comfortable with high volume of social interaction

Work well in a team environment

Maintain confidentiality

Must have a food handler permit

Able to lift and carry 40 pounds without difficulty

Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 10:00AM to 3:00PM and Friday from 9:00AM to 2:00PM

Pay: $20.00
