Job Title: Electrical Eng Tech 1

Location:

Vancouver, WA

Client: Bonneville Power Administration

Duration: 12+ months

Hybrid role

Pay Rate: $35/hr. W2

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Corresponding Experience (required on matrix):
  • A Bachelor’s or associate degree in Electrical Engineering (or related technical discipline) is preferred.
  • Level 1:
  • 6 months of electrical engineering work experience in a technical/engineering environment experience is required with or without an applicable degree.

Required Technical Skills & Experience (required on matrix):
  • Demonstrated understanding of electrical power substation including protection schemes, control systems, and outdoor equipment.
  • 6 months of directly related experience as an Electrical Technician or CAD support.
  • Experience with MicroStation CAD software and ProjectWise.
  • Experience working with data storage, database management, records maintenance.

Preferred Skills & Experience (optional on matrix):
  • Experience working with electrical high voltage substation indoor and outdoor design and drafting in the utility industry.
