Summary of Position:The Embedded Mobile App Engineer develops specifications for moderately complex software programming applications and modifies/maintains the existing software. This role develops, modifies and maintains applications that may be customized or standardized. This position participates in design and coding activities with other staff members.

Essential Functions:· Create applications that are Accessibility Compliant· Unit testing / automated integration testing· Build pipelines, Git, App Store publishing, native app· Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)· Discuss the client’s requirements and proposed solutions with other team members· Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve potential and evident system problems· Prepare systems specifications, project plans, and other internal documents· Ensure customer knows nature of work being performed, as well as timeframes and milestones. Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders

Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

Required Education and Experience:Bachelor of Science Degree or Computer Science Equivalent2+ years building customer-facing mobile applications

Qualifications:· Experience in Kotlin, JAVA, and/or Swift· Experience in Bluetooth Stack / GPS· Experience in Bio-auth· Experience in coding for Accessibility Compliance· TDD· Unit testing / automated integration testing· Build pipelines, Git, App Store publishing, native app· In-depth understating of Android and/or iOS applications development process, release and development environments· Ability to report daily and weekly updates to business· Strong attention to detail, multi-tasker, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions· Ability to adapt to any situations· Ability to interpret and follow technical plans· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
