Engineer - SW Development III

Location: SeaTac, WA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Backend Engineer - SW Development III

• Skill/Experience/Education
• Mandatory Skills
• - Minimum of a B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or other major requiring engineering core courses
• - Minimum of 5+ years of enterprise level back-end development experience
• - Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot
• - Experience creating RESTful APIs
• - The ability to quickly absorb information in an unfamiliar domain and translate it into software
• - Experience in multiple coding languages
• - Experienced with PostgreSQL databases
• - Experience with modern full-stack web development, primary focus on Back-End with some Front-End experience
• - A self-driven nature with the ability to seek out requirements and propose solutions with minimal direction
• - Must = or national, U.S. permanent resident (current holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
• Desired Skills
• - Experience with Linux, Docker, Jenkins
• - Exposure to configuration management systems specifically Windchill
• - Experience with aerospace systems
• - Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
• - Experience with unit testing and test driven development
• - Experience with C# or Python
