Entry Level Field Technician - Water

Overview

Join our team as an Entry Level Field Technician specializing in Water Operation! This exciting role offers a hands-on opportunity to make a real impact by serving clean and safe water to our customers. You will be working directly on-site under the direction of the district manager and the governing board in the daily operations of the water system. No prior experience is necessary—just a motivated attitude and a desire to learn and grow as well as a willingness to be on a rotating on-call schedule. This paid position provides comprehensive training and the chance to develop valuable skills in used water operation.

Duties

General maintenance of buildings and infrastructure.

Use hand tools and power tools safely for repairs

Conduct visual inspections of water system to identify issues such and report concerns to district manager

Follow safety guidelines diligently while working materials and equipment

Skills

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction fundamentals is a plus

Strong attention to detail for thorough inspections and quality work

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various environments

Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report findings accurately

Willingness to learn industry-specific procedures such as water treatment, filtration, and water sampling

able to perform minor manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
