Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Machine Operator, where you will be integral in handling operations related to fabric, wire draw, field fence, furnaces, or galvanizing at one of the largest wire manufacturers in the western United States. Our products serve a variety of sectors such as agriculture, construction, transportation, communications, and industrial applications. As a Machine Operator, you will manage large machines designed to cut, splice, extend, and galvanize wire of various thicknesses. This role requires a keen eye for detail due to the constant movement of wire by forklifts, the running of wire at various heights in and out of machines, and the movement of 2-ton spindles throughout the warehouse.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Kent, Washington.Work EnvironmentWork takes place in a large wire manufacturing facility known for its production of galvanized and reinforcement wire, along with specialty wires. The environment has a distinct "odor" due to galvanizing processes, which, while slightly noticeable, is non-toxic and regularly tested for safety. The facility is characterized by a hazy atmosphere from constant machine operation, and temperatures vary from hot in the summer to cold in the winter.
