Learn more about the Caterpillar Experience (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvCYWtWARlk&list=PLwAXbfivFg0jmiNqqgFLeQJpRBi-UVln&index=25) .As an Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager you will be responsible for serving as a leader and subject matter expert in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) supporting the Global Parts Distribution operations team, an organization of approximately 6,500 employees globally. This role will work with Parts Distribution leaders and employees to continue to build a culture that is relentless in its pursuit of a Zero Harm culture and achieving our sustainability goals.Responsibilities:
Lead or support complex projects and assignments that support and enhance the Parts Network performance and compliance across their global footprint
Lead and support Parts Network Safety and Sustainability strategy in line with PSLD and Corporate EHS Strategy goals
Build innovative EHS solutions for our teams to achieve Zero Harm, utilizing data analytics, metrics, cultural insights, and other data sources
Provide EHS guidance, direction, and leadership for all EHS Essential element requirements, divisions playbooks and related safety cultural initiatives
Provide counsel and leadership to operations leaders and associates on EHS issues
Analyze data and identify trends across the network to create strategies and action plans to mitigate risk
Assures compliance with organization and government EHS standards
Performs EHS audits
Completes or reviews reports for submission to the EPA or OSHA
Provide guidance and counsel to facility EHS representatives on safety, sustainability, and/or compliance topics
Work with different business units, suppliers, customers, and/or other teams
Assist in EHS professional development for site EHS professionals and site leadership teams
Lead the implementation of HOP, SIF, Injury Prevention Plans, and the EHS Management System
Communicate technical information to Leadership, team members, suppliers and other units; support and advise other EHS professionals, managers
Lead risk management activities
Provide EHS program training to employees and leaders
Assist Divisional team with developing and leading initiatives as assigned
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field
5 (plus) years of previous EHS experience
Technical expert in Health and Safety regulations
Technical expert in risk reduction analysis and techniques
The ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time
Top Candidates will also have:
Master’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field
Ability to perform complex assignments
Ability to lead and execute on a global scale
Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize and develop data management systems
Self-starter with strong technical leadership skills
Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well as employees in other units, customers, and suppliers
Strong collaboration skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and tools

Our team embraces flexibility through a hybrid work model. In addition to working onsite at one of our Parts Distribution facilities, our hybrid work model allows employees the flexibility to work from home based on business need
Compensation & BenefitsBase salary for this role ranges from $118,632.00 to $177,948.00. Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:
