Job DescriptionAbout the Internship:This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful energy and water conservation projects in a breathtaking natural setting. As an intern, you will collaborate with our leadership team to drive sustainability initiatives and make a difference in Olympic National Park.Job Responsibilities
Partner with the leadership team to identify energy conservation measures and opportunities.
Drive conservation practices through education initiatives targeted at both LCL staff and guests.
Collaborate with the energy manager to support a variety of energy efficiency projects, including infrastructure and mechanical equipment improvements.
Support green energy projects, including decarbonization and electrification efforts.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a graduate degree or possessing equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or environmental engineering preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to collect and analyze data accurately.
Proven ability to successfully implement energy and water conservation measures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and engage both staff and guests.
Ambitious and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
Passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment.
