An incumbent is assigned responsibility for a specific Epic application(s), and works to optimize workflow processes through building applications that are tailored to meet the needs of the organization.Work requires detailed knowledge of the workflow, requirements, content and outcomes of assigned functional area to ensure the needs of the represented application/department are supported. Incumbents are also accountable for: 1) collaborating with stakeholders to identify and document Epic-related needs/requirements; 2) working collaboratively with CHI IT team and end users to tailor the application to fit the organization's needs; 3) maintaining in-depth knowledge of current and future software functionality; 4) working with vendor/CHI IT to troubleshoot and resolve long-term issues/changes; and 5) participating in the development and delivery of Epic-related training.QualificationsEducation/Work Experience RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field, Information Technology, Business Administration or other related field, and three years of directly related work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment, that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.Or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Licensure/CertificationCurrent Epic Certification is required.Equal OpportunityCommonSpirit Health™ is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer committed toa diverse and inclusive workforce.
