Position Overview:

We are seeking a caring and dependable individual to join our team in Spokane as a Customer Relations Specialist. This role includes picking up deceased pets from veterinary clinics and personal homes, receiving pets from families at our facility, reviewing cremation orders and memorial requests, and ensuring accurate identification and handling through the entire chain of custody process.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick up deceased pets from veterinary clinics and private residences on scheduled routes

Receive pets from pet parents at our facility with compassion and professionalism

Review cremation service options, orders, and memorial requests with families

Ensure accurate tracking and identification of pets throughout intake and return

Communicate respectfully with both veterinary teams and grieving families

Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport vehicle and intake areas

Qualifications:

Compassionate and emotionally mature, with strong communication skills

Comfortable handling deceased pets of all sizes - help lifting and appropriate tools are provided

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Afternoon and evening availability preferred; flexible scheduling available

Experience in veterinary, medical, or end-of-life care is a plus but not required
