ETL Developer

ETL DeveloperJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of an ETL Developer for a contract position in Seattle, WA. Opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Participates in all phases of the project lifecycle architecture, design, development
• Participate in the design and development of key advertising technology initiatives
• Be a part of an Agile team of skilled developers / engineers
• Work directly with technical leads, engineers, operations, product managers and business stakeholders
• Demonstrate a creative and innovation-driven ability to articulate engineering design patterns related to scale, performance, security, and usability
• Design and build high volume data solutions.

• 3+ years of progressive responsibilities in one or more of the following areas: ETL/DAG design and implementation, data warehouse design and implementation, SQL and NoSQL query writing and tuning, and a bachelor's degree; or 5+ years of the same experience without a bachelor's degree
• 2+ years' hands-on experienceimplementing and deploying modern data pipeline solutions including: Python, Airflow (Google Composer) or similar tools, data design for warehousing, reporting, and transactional databases
• Experience with BI platforms (PowerBI or Tableau)
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, cloud storage on both platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication. A commitment to transparency and proactive information sharing.

• Certification on Google Cloud Platform or AWS for data
• Google: Google Data Engineer or Cloud Architect, Any Google Marketing Platform Certifications
• AWS: Database Specialty
• Knowledge of and working experience with open-source software and cloud infrastructure components
• Experience with advertising data platforms (Google Marketing Platform, Google Ad Manager, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Microsoft Advertising)
• Experience with Google Big Query and Google Marketing Platform automated data transfer, APIs
• Agile development practical experience
• Experience using version control systems such as Subversion or Git
• Microsoft 365 tools, Jira/Confluence, Miro or similar diagramming tools
