DescriptionJob summaryThe AWS Commerce Platform organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support the Software Development Director and other future L8 leaders within the Platform Reliability and Engineering Team (PRET) as well as International Expansion and Entities (IE2). PRET & IE2 is located in 11 geo-locations across seven time zones: Vancouver Canada, Seattle WA, Tempe AZ, New York City, Dallas TX, Denver CO , HQ2 VA, Herndon VA, Berlin Germany, Beijing China and Bangalore India. The organization includes AWS Data Platform, Security, Amazon Dedicated Clouds DevOps, Quality Enablement, BillRun Automation & Operations, Global Sellers of Records, and Last Mile Engineering in China and soon India.We are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and anticipate needs. This role will need to execute daily while finding ways to invent and simplify team programs and processes. Integrity, discretion, and professionalism in dealing with leaders and confidential information are critical in this role. The successful candidate will possess the ability to partner with teams across the company, operate independently, and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.
