We currently have positions open in the fabrication department located in our Seattle, Washington branch. WCWR is customer service oriented, therefore overtime may be mandatory and is dictated by workload and skill level. Those Individuals willing to learn industry standards, SOP, become proficient in the fabrication of lifting gear and associated products, produce a quality product in a reasonable amount of time will be compensated and become highly considered for future advancement within company.
Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
FABRICATION:
Single and multi part slings
Barge, winch, and other products
Braided slings
Crane Pendants
Stud assemblies
Wire rope nets
Grommets
Socket pouring Zinc/Resin
Hand Splicing both wire and synthetics
Chain assemblies
Chain belts
All associated products
TESTING OF PRODUCTS TO INDUSTRY STANDARDS,
MAINTAIN A CLEAN, ORGANIZED SHOP,
SUPPORT OTHER DEPARTMENTS AS REQUIRED,
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Job Requirements:
Valid Washington State driver's license a plus
Ability to be certified to operate forklift
Able to operate small equipment and swaging machines.
Able to meet the high physical demands of the duties assigned
Must speak, read, and write in English
High School diploma or GED (Preferred)
Basic math, add & subtract fractions
Flexible in work schedule (overtime as required)
Strong hand and eye coordination
Attention to detail a must
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday (Saturday if required)
Day shift
8 hour shift (Overtime if required)
