Description We are offering an opportunity for a Facilities Assistant in the bustling city of Seattle, Washington. This role is central to the seamless operations of our business, as you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our facilities. You will utilize your skills in software such as Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook to perform your tasks efficiently. This position is a short-term contract.Responsibilities: Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the workplace to ensure a clean and safe environment Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and schedule maintenance tasks Monitor the efficiency of facilities and suggest improvements when necessary Use Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Excel to maintain records, generate reports, and track facility-related metrics Provide excellent customer service when interacting with internal and external stakeholders Create, manage, and store facility-related documentation in accordance with company policies Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure facility needs are met and issues are promptly addressed Regularly inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Assist in facilitating office moves or relocations Contribute to the optimization of the company’s management system. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook. Demonstrable experience in a customer service role. Familiarity with a Management System. Ability to handle Documentation tasks efficiently. Prior experience in a facilities assistant role or similar. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Proven problem-solving abilities. High level of attention to detail. Ability to work in a team as well as independently. Proactive and able to take initiative when required. Must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
