Farm Production Manager

Westwind Organics is a 200+ acre certified organic commercial vegetable farm located in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley in NW Washington State. We grow roughly 30 commodities with a heavy emphasis on lettuce, broccoli, bunched greens, cabbage, celery, and winter storage crops. We believe in the principles of sustainability for the planet, people, and profit. Family owned and operated since 1996.

Primary responsibilities:

Oversee green house, crop production, harvest, and packing operations

Provide proper training for all crews regularly

Manage, coordinate, and communicate daily with crews and management

Ensure high quality standards are achieved

Analyze farming practices to optimize yields

Create a positive, fair, and respectful work environment

Ensure compliance with our food safety program

Develop systems to use labor efficiently

Requirements:

Agriculture Experience: 5 years

Management Experience: 2 years

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Organic crop experience

Proficient in using Microsoft 365 Apps

Schedule:

Monday through Saturday (May thru November)

Monday through Friday (December thru April)
