Fidelitas wines is looking for cellar interns for the 2025 harvest season. We are family farmed and family owned, crafting exclusively small-lot, vineyard designated Bordeaux varietal wines from Washington’s Red Mountain AVA.

Our team is small. This is a physical, hands-on position that is focused on fruit receiving and processing, cap management, wine movement, barrel maintenance, and general cellar work. This is a great opportunity to work closely with the winemaking team in all aspects of the winemaking process.

We don’t expect our interns to know everything, but we do expect them to be creative, willing to learn, and have a passion for their work. Candidates should be able to reliably work on a team, as well as independently with direction.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Cap management (pumpovers, punchdowns, roller barrels)

-Fermentation additions as needed

-Crush equipment management and operation

-Cleaning and sanitation of crush equipment, tanks, and winery

-Wine movement and barrel work, tank digging, and skin pressing

-Helping winemaking and laboratory operations as needed

Desired qualifications:

-Willingness to learn with keen attention to detail

-A valid drivers license and reliable, punctual transportation

-Ability to stand, sit, squat, be on your feet for long periods of time

-Ability to climb stairs and ladders

-Can work in confined spaces

-Adaptable

-Forklift certification a plus

-Previous harvest experience and/or a degree in enology/viticulture or related field a plus

This position begins early August and runs through December 2025. Pay starts at $20/hour with overtime after 40 hours/week. During peak fruit processing, August-October, we work 6 days a week beginning at 6AM with a scheduled day off. Once fruit has been processed, we work 4, 10 hour days 6AM-4:30PM, Mon-Thrus. Wine production is at our Richland, WA winemaking facility.
