What You'll DoTeradata is looking for a Field Marketing Manager (FMM) focused on the Americas Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Public Sector industry; can be based in San Diego or remote. As a FMM, you are responsible for supporting the Industry sales team to execute programs with high impact that generate and stimulates acceleration of the sales cycle while building/strengthening customer relationships and preference for Teradata’s solutions. This position will collaborate closely with Teradata’s sales leaders, channel partners, and campaign marketing teams to plan and execute compelling activities.In addition, you must successfully collaborate and prioritize industry-specific campaigns, as well as manage numerous projects simultaneously, in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a natural curiosity to learn and to explore. This is a strategy, as well as an execution role. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop agendas and event schedules; ensure plans align with the overarching product roadmaps, business priorities and Teradata's vision.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Americas Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Public Sector industry sales team to define marketing goals and objectives in order to develop a strategic marketing plan that aligns with sales pipeline and revenue goals.
Be the “go-to” trusted marketing resource for the assigned sales team.
Create, execute and measure an industry cluster marketing plan supported by market intelligence.
Consistently track program performance and effectiveness, report results and achieve targets/KPIs.
Manage marketing budget and procurement processes
Incorporate market research and Business Intelligence (BI) as part of program strategy and planning.
Execution and management of marketing programs both digital and in-person.
Manage 3rd party vendors and regional events end-to-end, inclusive of execution.
Alignment of regional channel & end user quarterly program strategy to ensure that messaging is consistent
Align with global marketing teams in order to leverage global campaigns, assets and resources.
Ensure timely execution of general administrative tasks & assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Understanding/experience of stage-based Marketing methodology and implementation
Drive lead acquisition, nurturing and support the development of pipeline opportunities
Domestic and International travel as needed
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in marketing field with 5+ years’ experience
Enterprise software/hardware background with field marketing experience. Data and Analytics experience a plus.
Impeccable organizational skills and detail oriented
Proactive, self-motivated, innovative and collaborative
Strong background in metrics tracking and analytical skills
Experience in a fast paced, teamwork-oriented environment

Prior experience in creating integrated marketing plans for a high-tech company supporting Enterprise accounts
Experience managing field and virtual events
Solid knowledge working within Salesforce to develop and track marketing campaigns and results
Proven track record working with and supporting sales team units
Established thought leadership/influence using social media strategy and publishing
Ability to understand a variety of technologies/solutions (i.e., Data warehousing & Analytics, Cloud, AI/ML, etc)
Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to work effectively across functional areas/departments
Proven ability to work well with all levels of management and peers. Close attention to detail with emphasis on meeting critical deadlines
Excellence in budget management
Ability to think strategically while implementing tactically
Strong negotiation skills with sales and other internal marketing groups and stakeholders
