Financial Analyst

Description Robert Half's contract finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our client in Vancouver, WA. This role is hybrid and has potential to convert. The primary responsibilities include managing internal and external reporting, navigating financial statements, and compensation analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage, is comfortable with large data sets, and is an advanced Excel user.Responsibilities: Manage the internal and external reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Navigate and interpret financial statements for better decision making Conduct compensation analysis to support strategic planning and forecasting Utilize Sage software for efficient financial management and analysis Handle large data sets, extracting insights for financial strategy development Utilize advanced Excel formulas and Power BI to streamline financial analysis and reporting Process and monitor customer credit applications, taking appropriate action when necessary Maintain accurate customer credit records for future reference and audit purposes.Requirements Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar position Demonstrated proficiency in budgeting and forecasting Experience with both internal and external reporting Familiarity with Sage Software Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas Experience with Power BI Proven experience in compensation analysis Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in data analysis and presentation Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
