Position Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop a comprehensive test plans and procedures
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure testing compliance and test flow, from components to integrated space vehicle assembly
  • Coordinate a team of test engineers in the development of methods, processes and test plans
  • Define vehicle configuration requirements for test per test phase
  • Define test facilities and floor space requirements
  • Contribute to preparation and execution of the program Test Readiness Review (TRR)
  • Execute integrated product tests and perform data reduction
  • May lead or coordinate resolution of test issues

    Typical Education & ExperienceDegree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
