Description Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contractor Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage all daily accounting tasks. The selected candidate will be tasked with overseeing all financial and fiscal aspects, from monitoring transactions and preparing monthly and yearly financial reports, to handling payroll, maintaining the general ledger, and completing tax forms.Responsibilities:

Implement and manage all regular accounting processes, including accounts payable and journal entries, plus monthly closure accounts.

Oversee full-cycle accounting duties.

Design, organize, and enforce all company’s financial policies ensuring compliance with regulations and that all necessary documents are accurate, processed, and reported on time.

Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the organization and report on financial performance.

Manage payroll, deposits, and vendor payments, while ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed.

Prepare financial forecasts, annual budgets, and regular business activity reports.

Conduct regular reviews of all financial data for accuracy and integrity.

Assist with tax preparation and return filing tasks.

Perform budgeting, cost tracking, invoicing, and project control duties.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience as a full-charge bookkeeper.

Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.

Strong understanding of the payroll process.

Proficient in using accounting software, databases, and MS Excel.

Familiar with tax procedures and regulations.

Excellent attention to detail, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Solid communication and organization skills.
