Gardner - Permanent part-time

Hello gardeners out there looking for a few extra each week! we are looking for a permanent part-time gardener for 1-2 days (6-12 hrs total) per week (flexible schedule). general landscape gardening - trimming, planting, some weeding (we have weeds well controlled), seasonal upkeep and maintenance. This is a large and beautiful landscape garden to work in quiet private property. Gardening experience required.

- $27 per hr

- Landscape gardening tools provided

- Ok with using slug bait, casoron, round up, moss out

- Transplanting

- Removing mature and/or dead plants/trees

- Able to drive and operate small dump trailer/zero-turn mower (no mowing)

- Pruning, weeding, shaping

- General plant, flower, shrub, tree knowledge

- Able and willing to work in inclement weather

- Removing plant debris after windstorms

- Shovel, spread bark using dump trailer

- Operate gas’s powered tools (weed trimmer, blower)

- Flexible hours and days Mon-Thursday

- Must have reliable transportation, no smoking, vaping or subbing out work

- This is a very physical job, must be strong and like to move

- Tranquil 5 acre property near Lake Whatcom

- Self directed
