GCP Architect

Position: GCP ArchitectREMOTE  A Senior Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to lead enterprise cloud transformation and application migration. This role bridges technical execution and business strategy, requiring deep expertise in cloud-native design, DevOps, and cost optimization, paired with the executive presence to guide stakeholders and mentor engineering teams. Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Strategy & Design: Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient GCP reference architectures (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)Migration & Modernization: Lead full-scale application migrations from on-premises or competing clouds to GCP, optimizing for cloud-native features and microservices. Automation & CI/CD: Design Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform, and architect containerization and deployment strategies. Governance & Security: Champion secure-by-design practices, cost optimization, and compliance across all GCP environments. Leadership & Pre-Sales: Partner with client executives, lead pre-sales solutioning, and mentor junior architects and engineers. Required QualificationsExperience: Typically 10+ years in cloud operations/engineering and 5+ years specifically working with GCP.GCP Expertise: Deep knowledge of core GCP services like Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Anthos.Certifications: Strong preference for the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect credential.Tools: Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, executive presence, and the ability to balance technical trade-offs. Health care experience preferred not mandatory .   Regards, Manoj GoudDerex Technologies INCContact : 973-834-5005 Ext 206
