 Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Developing and managing all marketing materials:Consumer apparel/branded POSStaff apparelVolo Sports websiteSponsorship decksVolo Kids Foundation decksVolo Kids Foundation websiteManaging an external agency:Hiring & managing agency and managing corresponding budget and projectsReviewing and approving all advertisements created by the advertising agency before they are published or airedPublic Relations strategy:Writing speeches and/or articles that promote the company’s products and services or explain company policies to employeesApproving sponsorships from the brand side of the businessAccountability for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic the Volo City websites, engagement on social media, leads, that deliver league registrations and player retentionManage and execute various national email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email promotionsCollaborates across cities and departments to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to help grow our community of players and volunteersDevelopment of content consistent with our brand, voice, style, and toneEditorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed.Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distributionEvaluating the effectiveness of campaign strategies to ensure that they are meeting/exceeding their goalsPeriodic performance measurement and optimization of the program’s content development, distribution, and resultsThorough documentation and communication of all marketing activities
