We are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. We operate a transportation company utilizing sprinter vans as well as minibuses and MCI coach buses.

This is a full-time position. You will have the opportunity to work with an excellent team of professionals, and will have the opportunity of running the shop, using your own talents and skills. The right candidate will also have some experience working with heavy machinery/equipment, strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills and experience in the trucking industry, and self-motivated to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Results are key. We are looking for a long term fit in our small family company. We have great benefits and work with the best people in town.

We are willing to help train you more on MCI buses-but need to have a great overall knowelege and many years of mechanic experience on vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance checks on vehicles.

Be able to give a brief explanation of the car's function and problems to clients.

Be able to explain a repair plan.

Be able to diagnose and fix problems on vehicles.

Know how to deal with a client when they are unhappy with the result of a repair attempt.

Be able to replace parts in a car's engine.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
