Human Resource Coordinator

The Human Resource Coordinator works in close partnership with the HR Leader to manage, execute, and champion company HR initiatives. This role will have exposure to all facets of the HR function and is able to provide meaningful impact to our employees’ work lives. In addition, the incumbent will be at the organization's front desk and answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and answer questions as appropriate. They will also receive and distribute mail and packages. Finally, the Human Resource Coordinator will assist with purchasing and expensing items for the administration and office products.
Essential Functions:
On-Demand HR support to employees to answer questions on Watson policies, benefits, community resources, etc.,
Benefit administration including monthly enrollment meetings and ensuring accurate information flow to carriers and accurate
billing is submitted to accounting.
Temporary Worker program maintenance includes constant communication with temporary staffing agencies to manage
requests, enter information into Paycom, complete weekly submission of hours to agencies and submitting bills for payment.
Maintain accurate employee records via online HRIS (Paycom) system and internal processes/reporting
Other Duties
Act as a champion and expert on Watson Employee Handbook and company policies
Assist with developing and maintaining company polices
Establish and maintain metrics related to the HR function
Proactively staying informed on upcoming employment law and guidelines changes
Purchase office supplies and food and beverages for employee cafeteria and functions, along with keeping track of all financial
aspects of this
Acting as the greeter and receptionist at the property’s front desk
HR Communications lead for bulletin boards, newsletters and other informational fliers
Scanning and filing for HR team
Assisting the HR team in any HR function not previously mentioned

Qualifications
2- or 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business, or another related field preferred
2+ years of professional experience required (manufacturing business experience a plus)
Demonstrated ability to leverage confidence, reasoning and problem solving to accomplish results
Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to interact successfully with diverse individuals at all
levels and build effective partnerships
Proven ability to make fast decisions, independently, and with sound judgment
SHRM certification a plus
