Immediate Hiring For Machine Operator (Permanent)

Job Title: Machine Operator Swing ShiftJob DescriptionWe are the largest wire manufacturer in the western United States, and our products are used in a wide variety of fields, including agriculture, construction, transportation, communications, and industrial applications. The foundations of our business are galvanized and reinforcement wire, though we also produce an assortment of specialty wires to fit almost any need.As a Machine Operator, you will work in Fabric, Draw, Field Fence, Furnaces, or Galvanizing departments. You will be responsible for operating extremely large machines that primarily cut, splice, extend, and galvanize wire of various thicknesses. High attention to detail is crucial as wire is constantly moved by forklifts, run at various heights in/out of machines, and 2-ton spindles are moved throughout the warehouse. You must be comfortable operating machinery and lifting up to 50lbs. Our wire is organized but not the cleanest environment, so we ideally seek someone who doesn't mind getting dirty.Hard Skills

Due to galvanized wire processes, there is a 'funky, stinky' odor in the air, which is NOT TOXIC. The chemical team runs tests on the fumes to ensure safety.
