Little Star School in Winthrop, WA is hiring an Infant & Toddler Program Director

Little Star School is a Montessori-inspired, non-profit school in the beautiful Methow Valley, serving over 125 students ages 0-6 over 2 campuses. The Infant/Toddler Program Director facilitates overall program and curriculum development and maintenance, staff support and scheduling, and student and family support for the 2 Infant Classrooms and 3 Toddler Classrooms (at Little Star’s Twisp and Winthrop campuses). The Infant/Toddler Program Director is part of the administration team and works closely alongside the Early Childhood Program Director and the Executive Director.

General Duties include:

- Infant/Toddler Staff Management, including staff scheduling, hiring, onboarding, supporting professional development

- Supporting implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum throughout the year in partnership with teachers

- Helping plan and prepare meaningful in-service training in partnership with the admin team and teachers.

- Ensuring programming aligns with Early Achievers and DCYF licensing requirements.

We are seeking educators with 3+ years of experience working with preschool-aged children who have the knowledge and skills to lead this program. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood or Education, or a professional development plan to have at least 25 credits within the first 6 months of hire.

The position is 25-30 hours/3-4 days per week, year-round (with option for up to 40/week if desired)

$21-24 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications, 3% retirement matching program, paid time off, $750 annual health stipend, 50% discount on your child/ren’s enrollment at Little Star.
