Interiors Technician

Aerotek on behalf of its client is seeking qualified Interiors Mechanic for modification and upgrade of 737 MAX aircrafts for a large airline customer at Payne Field, Everett WA. Long term contract work, expect to be committed for the duration of the program until mid-2025. Pay range $35-48/hour DOE, per diem available.

Local Pay Rates, DOE: $30-35/hour for local & non-licensed, $35-40/hour for local & Airframe licensed.

Per Diem Pay Rates, DOE: $40/hour including 22 Per Diem for non-local, $45-48/hour including 22 Per Diem for non-local Airframe licensed.

Description:

Remove seats, cabinets, overhead bins, sidewalls, panels, and other interior equipment; inspect and repair installation brackets and related assemblies, install seats, galleys/lavs, overhead bins, panels, etc. to complete the upgrade program.

For this mod project, there is new wiring to run from flight deck to E bay and through ceilings and sidewalls, seat to seat, new LRU in ceiling, etc. About 2 racks worth of wiring and components for this mod; not a complex Avionics mod overall, but requires remove/replace of all seats, most sidewalls and bins, ceiling panels, raceways, part of galley, carpet, cockpit seats. etc. - much of which will be replaced with new/updated material.

This program is expected to run through 2025. 240 aircraft are scheduled to be modified, 8 days per modification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years of aircraft interiors install experience

Airframe license required for 2 of the 4 openings

Must have minimum tool list

Preferred: 737MAX or other next-gen commercial aircraft experience

Work Environment

Large MRO hangar setting, on team lines.

4 X 10 hour shifts, 0500 – 1530 or 1530 – 0200, must be open to either
